This seminar provides practical advice about planning a training program based on the running-science workouts covered in my article Performance Improvement Workouts If you are not familiar with the article, take a moment and read it. The seminar will have a dialog, conversational format in plain language, no technical jargon.
I will briefly cover each of the five workouts, one at a time, and add a small amount of additional material for each. Following each of the workout descriptions, I will solicit questions and comments from the participants relevant to their particular needs and interests.
All participants will be encouraged, and even expected, to come prepared with a short description of their most important future race goal and how they can use specific workouts to meet the goal.
This seminar has a nominal fee. See About the Seminars for details.
Generally, we plan to hold the seminars on Saturdays, immediately following the scheduled run, and Tuesday or Thursday evenings at 7pm. Everyone who completes the "Seminars, Interest & Availability" poll will be notified when the schedule is firm.
Please take a minute and visit my polling page, there are only 8 multiple-choice questions. I need to gauge how much interest there is in the seminars and to find out what days and times are most convenient for everyone. Seminars, Interest & Availability
