Papua New Guinea

This is a set of photographs I took on a scuba diving trip to PNG in June 2003 on the M.V. FeBrina [a scuba diving "live-aboard"] and at the Walindi Resort, where the FeBrina docks. Walindi is on the PNG island of New Britain, northeast of the main island.

I took these photos mainly to include in a major underwater slideshow and underwater video-show, on which I am working. I needed a good sunset scene and some photos of locals.

• Mt. Pago, a volcano that erupted in Sept 2002. There is some smoke still coming out.
• Locals visiting the FeBrina in dugouts to sell us fresh fruit
